Happy Halloween, Freaks!
Guys, we have lots to talk about! For starters, today is Halloween. I’m sure you have at least some sense of why that’s significant in the world of Frank... And if not, stay tuned for the quick overview and a couple great Mothers moments from the Palladium.
And next Monday – a week from today – is the DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR KICKSTARTER REWARD ORDER FORM with all the info we need to send you your rewards!
And then of course, next Tuesday is the U.S. Presidential Election. Zappa for President! (We wish.)

For those of you who haven’t filled it out yet or don't know what I'm talking about, get the full run-down here or just search your email inbox for a message from The Zappa Movie Team with the subject line “Response Needed — Get your reward for Who the F*@% is Frank Zappa.” If you can’t find yours, visit zappa.backerkit.com and enter your email address to have one sent to you right away.
Remember, we need your responses by next Monday November 7, or it could delay the production and shipping of everyone's rewards! Once we get these, we know how many of each reward we need, which means we can get 'em ordered, made, packed and shipped. There’s plenty of evidence that Halloween beats out even Mother’s Day for Frank’s favorite day on the calendar. I mean, Frank loved Halloween so much, he lived with this label logo 365 days a year:

He showed his love for Halloween in many ways. For example, the Mothers “Trick or Treat” EP with this amazing and very seasonal art:

And, one of Frank's most beloved holiday traditions was to perform an epic annual show at the Palladium in New York City every Halloween from 1977 until the end of his touring career.
Among other treasures from those shows, the full live album he released of the Mothers' 1978 Halloween show is listenable on YouTube. So, to get us in the Halloween spirit, I'll leave you with that, plus this video of “Camarillo Brillo” and “Muffin Man” from Oct. 31 1977 at the Palladium — shirtless FZ at this finest.
